 Q:    Hello, I'm wondering if sauna suits are helpful in aiding with weight loss, and also do you lose more weight when you sweat more.

 A:    No and no. However, sweating is good for you as it is your body's natural cooling system and probably indicates you are working hard. Be sure to drink plenty of water while you exercise.  
 
 Q:    I used the Pilates Premier by Stamina along with the video for 30 minutes a day. Is this considered Pilates or Pilates-Mat for the activities summery? And, what is the difference? Thank you

 A:    Pilates is performed using a Pilates "machine" and Pilates-Mat is for floor exercises.  
 
 Q:    i have yo yo dieted all my adult life. i am absolutely sick of being fat. why do i find it so hard to stick to a diet?it,s as if i would prefer to eat rather than face the long haul of doing something about it .help..inspiration needed.

 Q:    OK, I'm trying to figure this out. You say that you need to burn 500 more calories than I eat right? How do I figure out what my ideal calorie intake is? I just joined the site and it doesn't seem to answer that question. Also, what kinds of activities will burn the necessary calories? So If I eat 1200 calories then I need to burn 1700 calories? Just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. I appreciate the answers.

 A:    Your ideal caloric intake depends on you. You only need to burn 500 calories a day MORE than you consume to lose one pound of fat per week. So, if you burn 1200 per day just by living and you consume 1100 calories than you will need to exercise and burn an additional 400 calories in order to reach your goal.
