Subject: Sunday Exercise?
Help please? I do a pretty good job of exercising during the week. I do strength training and ride my exercise bike 6 days a week, but I find that I need a break from that routine on Sundays. The problem is that Sunday is the day that my family gets together for dinner and I consume the most calories. What can I do to burn some calories without feeling like I don't have a day off?

My Sunday ritual is to get up as early as possible, have coffee, and head out to the nearest walking trails, or just walk around the neighborhood, or walk to get coffee...I try to do at least an hour, early AM is nice when the birds are singing. Not a super intense workout, but fresh air, brisk walking - it wakes you up too.

Why not try a fun exercise like a trampoline or something you can do with your partener.

Why not switch days off? If not, I like the walking in the park idea. You really should take a day off though. You don't want to burn yourself out. Most trainers will tell you that your body does need to rest.
