I have been doing this since 1/7/05. I started at 184 on 1/3/05 and 32%+ bodyfat. I am now 164 and 26.8%BF. I am a mother of 2(16 year old daughter and 9 year old son). I workout at my home with powerblock freeweights. I am going to Hawaii in 7 days and I just went to the store yesterday to buy my bathingsuit-how depressing. I swear they use the worst lighting possible in dressing rooms. I have to keep reminding myself that it took a longtime to reach the point I was at and to be healthy and not lose lean bodymass is going to take time. Let me know how it's going with you and if you have any great recipes because I'm getting just a tad bit tired of CHICKEN BREAST!!!!!!!!!! Catch ya later.

Hi Lee Sam, I just joined but I started out at 340 and lost 45 on my own then found this website and love it. I am now at 264 and I am determined to do this. I have found that fish is great stuffed flounder is low, pork chops and even a small steak, my fave is brown rice and beans with some tomato sauce the real plain kind and some italian spices (Mrs. Dash) mixed in, I love it and it is the perfect meal something to do with the balance of carb and protein. I also found fatburn restaurant listings to be wonderful I check out my favorites and I find what is the best to eat and then do that as well. It is amazing what we can eat. Continued success to you.

Hi Lee Sam, I broil the flounder or any fish put it in tin foil add whatever seasonings I use Mrs. Dash. a little fresh lemon juice broil for 8 - 10 minutes depending on fish size and thickness but till it is white and not clear, delicious. I worry more about fat grams so I stay under thirty grams daily. I am really into exercise, do 1-2 hr cardio per day and at least 30 min of circuit or weight training. I got so into it I am studying to be a personal trainer. I figure by the time I lose the weight I will have taken the certification exam and can proceed from there. This takes a lot of work and determination to change a way of life. Sometimes the numbers dont go down, but I am thinner now than before because of the exercising I do. Inches off, will probably need a tummy tuck at some point....I hope not but will do so if I cant accept it. Write soon.
